Using Entries, Results and Settings

Entries: set up the round

Use the controls available for this tool to edit choices, set a range or choose game rules. Review prompts and repeat settings before spinning. The Sound effects switch is below these controls.

Results: review your history

Read previous selections, newest first, and use Clear history when you want an empty list. This leaves the active choices and no-repeat pool intact.

Settings: choose the look and sound

Choose a wheel theme, select a winning sound and preview it. The Sound effects switch here stays synchronized with Entries. Colors and sounds do not change selection odds.

Wheel controls FAQ

Where can I find or clear previous results?

Open Results to see the newest selections first. Clear history removes that list; it does not restore removed winners or reset a no-repeat round. Use the tool’s reset control when you want to start a new round.

How do I change colors or turn sound off?

Open Settings to choose a theme and winning sound. Sound effects is also available in Entries; both switches control the same setting. Turning sound off mutes wheel clicks and the winning sound. Choosing No winning sound only mutes the celebration. Your sound preference is remembered for this English tool in this browser when browser storage is available.

Do themes change the chance of winning?

No. Themes only change appearance. Two-outcome wheels use two colors and three-outcome wheels use three. Repeated labels share a color in the selected theme. Entries, repeated slices and any weights still determine the odds.

Set up your round

Each listed team has an equal chance. This tool chooses a team; it does not divide players into balanced groups. Edit the entries if you want a smaller pool or a different season.

  1. 1. Review the list. Keep only choices you want included. Repeated lines give that choice more chances.
  2. 2. Choose a repeat rule. Keep entries for independent spins, or remove each winner for a no-repeat round.
  3. 3. Spin and review. Read the result and open Results to check your selection order. A single remaining entry can be selected directly.

About these team lists

Premier League and Serie A templates use the 2026/27 season. The European collection combines those two leagues only. NBA teams were checked in October 2026. New football templates cover Spain, France, Germany, the Netherlands and Portugal for 2026/27. NFL, MLB and NHL templates were checked on October 14, 2026. These are editable snapshots, not live team feeds. This independent picker is not affiliated with the leagues or teams.

Frequently asked questions

Can I edit the template?

Yes. Add, remove or replace choices in the editor before spinning. Each line is an entry with an equal chance.

Can I avoid repeats?

Enable Remove winner after each spin. The selected line is removed when you close the result or spin again. Duplicate lines remain until removed separately.

Are my edits and results saved?

These category wheels use the current page session. Refreshing or opening another template restores its starting list. Record results separately before leaving.

Can I open this template directly?

Yes. Bookmark /team-picker/la-liga-teams to return to its original choices. Each template has its own address, heading and preloaded list.

Does this create balanced sports teams?

No. It randomly selects one listed team or entry. To form balanced groups, decide your grouping rules separately.
