Using Entries, Results and Settings

Entries: set up the round

Use the controls available for this tool to edit choices, set a range or choose game rules. Review prompts and repeat settings before spinning. The Sound effects switch is below these controls.

Results: review your history

Read previous selections, newest first, and use Clear history when you want an empty list. This leaves the active choices and no-repeat pool intact.

Settings: choose the look and sound

Choose a wheel theme, select a winning sound and preview it. The Sound effects switch here stays synchronized with Entries. Colors and sounds do not change selection odds.

Wheel controls FAQ

Where can I find or clear previous results?

Open Results to see the newest selections first. Clear history removes that list; it does not restore removed winners or reset a no-repeat round. Use the tool’s reset control when you want to start a new round.

How do I change colors or turn sound off?

Open Settings to choose a theme and winning sound. Sound effects is also available in Entries; both switches control the same setting. Turning sound off mutes wheel clicks and the winning sound. Choosing No winning sound only mutes the celebration. Your sound preference is remembered for this English tool in this browser when browser storage is available.

Do themes change the chance of winning?

No. Themes only change appearance. Two-outcome wheels use two colors and three-outcome wheels use three. Repeated labels share a color in the selected theme. Entries, repeated slices and any weights still determine the odds.

Guide

How to Use the Random Number Wheel

Start with the default 1–100 range or enter your own limits. Both limits are included: 10–15 means six possible numbers, not five. Use Spin for a visual draw, or Quick Pick for an immediate number. In No repeats mode, both methods draw from the same remaining pool.

1. Choose your number range

Enter whole-number limits with up to 100 values between them. For ten numbered questions, use 1–10; for ten zero-based positions, use 0–9. Negative ranges also work. If both limits are equal, select the single available number with Quick Pick.

2. Decide whether numbers can repeat

Allow repeats keeps every number available after a result. No repeats removes selected numbers from the current round, which is useful for raffles, classroom turns, assignments, and other activities where the same number should not be chosen twice.

3. Spin the wheel or use Quick Pick

Spin the wheel when you want the visual excitement of a number spinner. Choose Quick Pick when you want the same random selection without waiting for the animation. Both methods use the numbers currently available in your chosen range.

4. Review your recent results

The latest result appears next to the wheel and can be copied. Open Results to see the newest draw first, up to 30 entries. Clearing history does not reset the pool; Reset round makes used numbers available again. Refreshing or switching tools clears the session.

5. Switch to a focused random tool

Use the tool hub when the task deserves a different experience. Roll dice, call bingo balls, draw raffle tickets or named giveaway winners, flip a coin, generate lottery-style lines, or choose dates from a calendar range. Each card opens the tool’s own page with its instructions, examples and screenshots.

Random Number Wheel 1–10, 1–20, 1–50, and 1–100

You do not need separate tools for every small number range. The same wheel can instantly become a random number generator from 1 to 10, 1 to 20, 1 to 50, or 1 to 100. This keeps the experience simple while still supporting the most common number-picker ranges from one place.

For a page you can bookmark and share, open the dedicated number picker. Use the raffle tool when your numbered tickets need a larger range, or use the name picker when your choices are names rather than consecutive numbers.

How the Random Selection Works

The interactive randomizers in this hub generate their choices in your browser. The number wheel, dice tools, bingo caller, raffle picker, coin flip, lottery generator, and random date picker use browser-based random selection, while the animations and sound effects reveal the result and make the draw easier to follow.

For the number wheel, the winning value is selected before the animation begins, so the animation is a visual reveal rather than a way to influence the outcome. Use No repeats when you need unique selections during the same round.

Example setups

  • Ten classroom questions: use 1–10 and No repeats. Match each number to a question before you draw.
  • A numbered group: use one number per participant and share the mapping before starting. Reset the round only when you want everyone eligible again.
  • A game with repeated rolls: choose Allow repeats so every draw starts with the same possibilities.

Which random generator should I use?

Number Wheel

Use it when your choices are consecutive numbers and you want a visible spin.

Dice / D20 / D&D Dice

Use these when the result should feel like a real tabletop die roll.

Bingo Caller

Use it to call 75-ball or 90-ball bingo numbers without duplicates.

Raffle Number Picker

Use it for numbered tickets and one or multiple unique winners.

Giveaway Wheel

Use it for a checked participant list when you want a visible winner draw.

Raffle Wheel

Use it for ticket codes, names or nonconsecutive labels. Use Raffle Number Picker for continuous numeric ranges.

Coin Flip

Use it for a two-outcome Heads or Tails decision.

Lottery Number Generator

Use it to create lottery-style Quick Pick lines from supported country and game formats.

Random Date Generator

Use it when the random result should be a calendar date instead of an integer.

Frequently asked questions

Can I change the range from 1–100?

Yes. Use the 1–10, 1–20, 1–50 or 1–100 presets, or enter your own minimum and maximum. The wheel accepts up to 100 consecutive whole numbers, including both limits.

Can the range include zero or negative numbers?

Yes. For example, 0–9 contains ten numbers, and −5–5 contains eleven. Both limits must be safe whole numbers, and the range must contain no more than 100 numbers.

What happens when the minimum and maximum are equal?

There is one possible result. Use Quick Pick to select it. The animated wheel needs at least two available numbers, so its Spin button is unavailable for a single-number pool.

Do Spin and Quick Pick use the same numbers?

Yes. Both choose from the currently available pool using browser cryptographic randomness. Spin adds a visual reveal; Quick Pick returns the result immediately. Their draws are independent, so they need not return the same number.

What happens when No repeats runs out of numbers?

Picking stops when every number has been used. Press Reset round to make them available again. Changing the range or repeat setting also starts a new pool. The final remaining number can be selected with Quick Pick.

Does clearing history reset No repeats?

No. Clear history removes the displayed recent results. It does not make used numbers eligible again. Use Reset round to restart the available pool.

Are my range and results saved?

The number wheel keeps the current range, latest result and up to 30 recent results in this page session. Refreshing the page or switching to another randomizer clears that state. You can copy the latest result before leaving.

Which tool should I use for more than 100 ticket numbers?

Use the Raffle Number Picker. It handles larger safe-integer ticket ranges and can select multiple unique winners without building a wheel with one slice for every ticket.

Why is the range marked invalid?

Fill in both limits with whole numbers. The maximum must be at least the minimum, and the wheel range must contain between 1 and 100 values. Decimals, blank fields and values outside the safe-integer limits are not accepted.
